Leaving the leiderhosen, today we wanted to make it to Passau. We're all sore now after consecutive days riding, but you don't tend to take photo's when you're knackered! Just short of Passau we found a riverside restaurant and the owner said we could kip in his back garden. Full of apple, pear and plum trees it - not too bad! The photo's come from the end of the day, the blazing sun finally starting to set.
Weather is good in Germany, sleepy fisherman line the riverbanks, Harvey wants to know what they are fishing for...
An installation approaching our riverside stop, the solar system mapped to scale and placed along the path, planets individually turned from metal. Above shows the sun in the background, Earth and Mars in focus...
Dear Vango, your tent is constantly wet and now smells like wet dog, cheers. Putting up and taking down the tent is the worst part of the day!
This makes the whole thing look like a beer drinking jolly. It's not by any means, but this was a particularly nice evening...
From the river.
Fresh food, pretty sick of cereal bars.... breakfast in Passau tomorrow.
