Day Nineteen - Paradise and Paprika

After binning last nights doggy bag in favour of natural yoghurt and fruit we headed off into Paprika country, very rural, friendly people. The ‘fields are on fire’ when the peppers are ready to be picked in autumn. Plenty to see with a lunch break running over schedule thanks to some enthusiastic kids and an even more enthusiastic dog that followed us for quite some time!
Upon arriving at our destination in Dunafalva in the dark after another +100km day we made several laps of the tiny village before being stopped by a man explaining how his garden was a much better than the village campsite. A dark beer and complimentary Unicum later we set off tipsily into the night led by Robert on his old Raleigh racer later. We were soon introduced to the whole family, enthusiastically shown around a fantastically wild garden resembling paradise in comparison the mosquito farm advertised as a camping area, and served up hot goulash.

A storm was brewing and we were ushered into a tents already set up somewhere in the garden... how will this place look in the morning?!
