Day Twenty

Emerging from the tent, legs aching from yesterdays efforts, we had survived the storm, but weren't sure if the previously night had been a bit of a dream. It wasn't...
Maps and coffee, family already off the work and school. Robert, a swimming teacher, had the day off!
Kittens, Flora is content.
Very characterful dogs that love chasing apples.
Breakfast, homemade jams now tucked in Harveys barbag.
Kittens make good towels after a warm outdoor shower...
Reluctant to leave, we dragged ourselves onto the dykes by the river again and headed quickly to Mohacs, and the Croatian border beyond. The first vehicle we met was a van with three burly men across the front. We got a full flashing lights and horn blast welcome, Croatia seems very friendly...
The days riding was shorter, and as we looked for a new campsite, we were beckoned over to a garden with the offer of apples, which turned into an offer of a campsite at the back of an orchard. A very friendly family, kids still on holidays helped us put up the tents and dodge the man eating hornets...
Coffee time. Pancakes with chocolate spread, a treat.
